Gasket Material Polyurethane – Generic
This Gasket fits any windsurfing board that has a gasket measuring exactly at or up to the dimensions stated below. Alterations/Modifications may be required to have the gasket fit properly.
Gasket Material Amber Polyurethane .062″x 95A duro.
It also measures: 7.923cm x 105.41cm
This Polyurethane material is very flexible so not to interfere with the daggerboard movement.
Installation requires that the mold release compound be cleaned off the gasket in the area to be glued. The manufacture recommends using Ajax or Comet to scrub the gasket. We also sand the area of the gasket to be glued with 60 – 100 grit.
2-part epoxy works as a glue. After the glue is dry, use a straight edge and cut the slot from hole to hole. Holes are already in the gasket. Cutting the slot before installation makes it very difficult to align accurately.
Wind Power will remove and install the new gaskets. The cost depends on the time to remove the old gasket. Some come off easy and others are a chore.
