Mistral Stud for replacement Superlight Mast Foot 1981 – 1988
This is a nylon replacement for the original mast foot which is no longer available from Mistral.
Installation and removal of the mast foot from the board requires moving the locking C-clip on the deck of the board. Move the C-clip to the outward position to remove and after installation of the mast foot pushing the stainless C-clip to the inward or locked position.
Wind Power recommends using a mechanical u-joint (Chinook) to make installation and removal of the replacement mastfoot stud as easy as possible.
The whole mast foot assembly can be purchased in either the Euro pin or US base systems by contacting Wind Power.
